Photography, Sun Print, Bleach, Paper Masks

 

人的皮膚分很多層，有表皮 epidermis、真皮 dermis 及皮下結締組織 hypodermis, subcutaneous tissue。 本作品以攝影及後期處理技巧，把皮膚照片的顏色分層，選擇地曬印在面膜上，讓皮膚的表面現象顯露出來。再用噴灑漂白水的方法，使面膜上的顏色減退，形成不同變化的表皮面相。 正所謂 “面一層，底一層”，大家所看到的並不是所有，亦非皮膚本質的部份。人們對待身體和生命的行為層出不窮，曬黑漂白，不斷地自我尋找。無窮的控制慾念如支配銀河宇宙般，在真實與虛假、完美與不完美之間，未知數地無限徘徊。

 

Human skin is divided into many layers, including epidermis, dermis and hypodermis, subcutaneous tissue. This work uses photography and post-processing techniques, separate the photo of the skin into different colour layers, and selectively sun print each layer on paper masks. Let the surface of the skin revealed on the masks.  Then,  spraying the bleaching water is used to reduce the colour on the mask to form differently changing skin phases.
